No Country for Old Arcades: Sunnyvale GolflandI never knew that the Golfland arcade was even vaguely famous, Growing up, I somehow got the impression that all miniature golf courses should have a kick-ass arcade. I remember going to a place in Westgate a bit too (Galaxia, I think?) because it was cheaper ~8 tokens per $1 and because it had that vaguely cool Battletoads arcade game.

The other sad thing other than the death of arcades is that miniature golf courses are dying too. There's like 3 in all of the Bay Area and I don't even know if there are any in Seattle.
