So what is never knows best...? It is what Mamimi, from FLCL, has written on her cigarettes. And now, I co-opted it for this stupid blog.

Happily Blogger support was able to revive the Food Log, so I'll still have my memories of food.

On the other hand, Blogger doesn't seem to be playing nicely with Opera on it's default settings. The login page doesn't work, and just gets me re-directed back to the home page instead of the dashboard. Of course, if I messed around with Opera's settings, I'm sure it'll be ok, but it's a little bit annoying.

More on the Opera front, is that since I finally started using v.9.2x Bank of America's (boo, hiss??) sign-in pages don't have messed up margins anymore. Unfortunately, the link to "credit card" bill pay doesn't work (doesn't work for sister FIA Card Services site either) today. I'm guessing as part of the spiffying up of the interface, some things broke on BofA's side.

I don't notice Opera discrimination as much right now though becuase I usually use Firefox for work browsing. Though at least they don't lock down the computers so much that Opera can't be installed.

Arghh! I accidentally deleted my food log. I was messing around with Blogger templates, and deleted the wrong one. It wasn't too active, but I will miss reading about random food Amy and I ate.

I've sent out a "Contact Us" to Blogger support, so hopefully they'll be able to recover.

Engadget blurb about Berkeley's respectful cameras project. I kinda remember the project about having cameras on Sather Gate because I took a class from the professor who was setting it up - IEOR/CS prof Goldberg. He was really into telepresence at the time (forced our class to participate in a Tele-twister online voting twister thing), but overall the class was quite a bust because it was so random (it was IEOR 171 - Industrial Design). I like to think of him as IEOR's answer to Garcia, but Garcia is probably a better professor.
