This especially makes sense in today's falling interest rate environment when banks are quietly dropping the rates. While HSBC bank sends mails about falling rates, most other banks don't. If you keep $100K in a bank that quietly drops the rate 1% without you finding out, you lose almost $100 every month. That almost 20 chipotle burritos a month you could easily avoid losing by moving the money with one check or one click, if only you knew.

Not that I'm all that big of a fan of Chipotle or that there's even one nearby, but burritos are dear to my stomach.
