So what is never knows best...? It is what Mamimi, from FLCL, has written on her cigarettes. And now, I co-opted it for this stupid blog.

Europe trip so far...
* Amsterdam
* Brussels
* Paris
* Nice
* Amsterdam *
Saw the Rembrant House, Van Gogh Musuem, flower market, FOAM (photography) museum, and Ridjkmuseum. In the Rembrant House we saw a demonstration of how the engravings were done (i.e. various tools to scrap the metal, do the etching, press the plates) that I thought was neat.
We stayed at the Flying Pig Hostel, which was alright for a hostel I guess. The morning breakfasts of chocolate spread (I don't think it was Nutella, something more chocalately and sweet) on bread and croissants was nice.
* Brussels *
Windy. Rainy. Very windy and rainy. We were planning on trying to get to the main Neuhaus choclate store, but didn't make it because it was too windy and rainy. Instead we ate some fries with mayonnaise.
* Paris *
The trip to Paris from Brussels took something like 5 hours because we weren't able to reserve seats on the direct train. Apparently you have to reserve a week ahead, so when we tried day before, we were basically screwed. So it was our choice of weird itineraries that would eventually get us to Paris. We choose Amsterdam -> Brussels -> Quevy -> Aulnoye-Aymeries -> Paris. The were much franticness on my part on the train to Quevy because I wasn't sure how to get onto the one that would in fact actually get to Quevy and not end earlier. We eventually got off on the end stop of the train we were on and then migrated towards the front of the train that would continue going.
In Paris, we saw the Rue Cler that Rick Steves goes on about in his Europe book, Eiffel Tower (walked up to the 2nd level), Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, Louvre, and insides of Notre Dame (sadly got there too late to go up the towers). Weather was much better in Paris, as it was at most only a light sprinkle while we were out.
* Nice *
Took the TGV to Nice today. We were originally planning on going to Avignon, but after seeing how much the hostels cost, we decided to go to Nice instead.
So far we've done lots of sleeping, and got some large wheaty crepes...
Will continue at next chance...
