So what is never knows best...? It is what Mamimi, from FLCL, has written on her cigarettes. And now, I co-opted it for this stupid blog.

So after my break at home, I drove back to away-home cause the power was out at home, and I need to drive into work tomorrow anyways, so I might as well make the commute at night. For me, night time driving is only scary when you first start driving and you don't have any bearings for where other cars are around you. Once you get in the flow, it's a lot easier to keep track of headlights for me, and I guess it's helpful there's a lot less cars too.
Anyhow, coming home, I happily find that I received my Timberland 3-in-1 jacket that I ordered a month ago through spirit rewards. Sadly, I find that the conversion rate ended being as low as $0.02 per spirit point. Plus the house's trash cans are missing (not sure how to handle that, but I guess I'll worry about it when I have enough trash to worry about it).
Another plus, having turned off the heater before I left a week ago, the house was a nice and chilly 55 degrees, not quite cold Europe temperatures, but I hung around for the first couple of hours with only my socked-toes getting cold. So maybe that 40 degree weather won't be too bad, right?
