dry as toast

I think I'm messing up the roof of my mouth by eating too much hard candy at work. I have a couple of tender patches on the roof of my mouth from sucking on Jolly Ranchers for the past 3 weeks, and I'm probably messing up my teeth as well by trying to chew them every now and then (it doesn't really work and they just end up stuck on your teeth). On the plus side, I don't think anybody else in my cube row likes Jolly Ranchers, so the bag I got is lasting longer than other candies (namely chocolate stuff). But just to be safe and give my mouth a rest I bought a bag of Starbursts to be the next candy I leave around outside my cube. Starbursts are usually softer than Jolly Ranchers at least...

Oh and randomly I got a bunch of travel mug filled candy mailed to me by my department today. It's mostly cheap/crummy candy that I don't like that much though (Sweet Tarts, some generic lolipops, some company branded Dentyne Ice-knockoffs, Now & Laters, etc.). And that makes it I think 7 company branded plastic travel mugs (plus 1 I accidentally stole from somebody else) I've gotten in my 2 years working here.
