dry as toast

So I'm using part of my day off to catch up on watching cartoons and TV in general. Since the WB is the only network channel showing cartoons (outside of PBS' educational ones), I'm stuck watching that. No Pokemon, instead mostly random stuff like Xiaolin Showdown (wrong on a lot of levels, but strangely more watchable than Jackie Chan Adventures), The Batman (Batman Beyond was far better than this), and a Transformers cartoon (just weird).

Then I see an ad for Coconut Fred's Fruit Salad Island, which looks like a blatant rip off on Spongebob Squarepants to me. And me being the Spongebob fan (well Patrick/Squidward fan), I'm slightly offended... Anyways it looks like a dumbed down version of Spongebob, if that's possible.

edit: It's cool how this discussion quickly gets taken over by a Battlestar Galactica debate. How quickly the original topic is abandoned totally fits with my stereotypes about online forums.
