Notes from Locus Arts' Bittersweet that I went to yesterday: Food at gotten at Cha-ya was good as usual, it was strangely not that packed for a Friday night (I was pretty surprised because even when we left at around 7:30 there wasn't anybody waiting for a table, maybe the sprinkling weather hurts their business?); for the actual event it was pretty good, the music wasn't anything I was all that interested in, but it was all put together pretty decently; Julia Lau was decent; Kevin So puts on a good show; other 2 didn't leave any real impression. Notable crowd pleasing song was Kevin So's "New sensation" (or something along the lines) about how the Asian man is the new sensation with all the ladies, so I'd better get ready??
