dry as toast

Adventures in mid-fi (I'm not blowing enough cash for it to be considered hi-fi). So, I finally got around to setting up my old computer speakers to my computer (some 3 piece Altec Lansing set or another), and listening to it, it kinda sucks. Well after 2 hours or so of listening to it, I'm getting used to the bloated bass, but my first impression was pretty bad. It was all bass, which is nice in comparison to my bookshelf system, but it was hard to make out anything else. Oh well, anything was better than using the speakers stuck in the monitor I'm using.
