So what is never knows best...? It is what Mamimi, from FLCL, has written on her cigarettes. And now, I co-opted it for this stupid blog.

Kumo No Muko - The Place Promised In Our Early Days

The Slanted Door has tea service, which looks vaguely intersting. I'm surprised that they actually serve Yunnan black Pu'er tea. Pu'er tea was also mentioned in SF Weekly's best of awards.

Those who want to splurge may be drawn to the 1940 Vintage Extra Age cup of pu-erh tea, infused with 10 different blends, at $23; a staffer may tell you it's not for beginners, but that's just tea-speak.

From SF Weekly's Best Tea

I think I had something similar when I went to Yunnan the past summer. Of course I only got a couple of small tea cups full of it. Didn't walk out buying any though (as most of the other people in the tour group did). After the tea tasting, I walked out with some red tea that I liked a lot better than the aged pu'er.

If only it'd get back to cold winter'y tea drinking weather, I could work on my goal of drinking 2 liters of hot tea over the course of a night. The closet I got was about 1.5 liters, so I still have something to work towards.
