So what is never knows best...? It is what Mamimi, from FLCL, has written on her cigarettes. And now, I co-opted it for this stupid blog.

Honest Mistake [The Bravery]
So, I watch Beyblade for the first time today. First the cirumstances, this is just what I do when my cousins come to visit, flip around to the various cartoon channels and listen to my cousins whine about how there is not any Digimon/Pokemon/Yu-gi-oh on and how my cable sucks, and then I just settle in and watch some other crummy cartoon. Mostly, I am just not sure what sort of TV is appropriate for kids anymore, so it is either cartoons, game shows, or bust for me. Anyway, if it is not one of the 3, my cousins will complain anyways, it is amazing that they do not have lower standards for TV watching, when I was young I would watch plenty of crappy shows just to have something to watch. Anyhow, back to the Beyblade, I was surprised to see how well the concept of battling tops worked, especially with that rock-tinged background music, and almost made me want to root for the main character even though he is a bum.
