dry as toast

I just realized that I have been reading a weird Japanese book, Murakami's Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World, while listening to weird Japanese music, Mono's One Step More and You Die. Both are pretty decent.

I burned through the Murakami book faster than any other book in recent history, though I did spend like a year and a half mostly focusing on fininshing Quicksilver. Neal Stephenson, you are not my literary god anymore. I still want to read The Confusion.
